Faculty Openings: Information & Communications Management Programme,
National University of Singapore

The Information & Communications Management Programme in the Faculty of Arts
and Social Sciences at the National University of Singapore is seeking two
faculty members. The successful candidates will be expected to help develop
curriculum, teach graduate and undergraduate courses, and give new research
directions to this new interdisciplinary programme at NUS. Areas of interest
for position one include, political impact of new media in East and
Southeast Asia, international communication, political economy of new media.
For the second position we are seeking a candidate with expertise in social
and policy aspects of telecommunications, e-commerce and Internet marketing,
international advertising, and interactive advertising with an emphasis on
East and Southeast Asia. Candidates should submit: (1) a letter of
application describing their teaching and research interests; (2) a
curriculum vitae; (3) and, three letters of recommendation. PhD is required.
Appointments will be on a tenure-track basis. Salary and benefits are
