With the usual apologies for cross-posting:
The University of Toronto at Mississauga and the Joseph L. Rotman School of
Management at the University of Toronto have established a Hatch Chair in
the Management of Technology. The Hatch Chair will develop new programs
designed to teach students how to manage technology-based organization,
preparing them for management positions in the IT, Biotechnology and
Engineering Technology sectors. The Chair will also assemble a team to
assist him/her in conducting research in the field, and will establish
linkages with local and national organizations, helping to build a critical
mass of knowledge about the management of technology at the University of
Toronto at Mississauga.
Applications are invited from highly qualified individuals for this tenure
track/tenured senior position starting July 1, 2002. Candidates must have
a PhD in a related discipline, an outstanding research record, and
demonstrated expertise in an appropriate area relating to the Management of
Technology. In addition, the candidate will have demonstrated excellence
in teaching at a variety of levels including executive teaching. Excellent
academic credentials, superior teaching qualifications, and the ability to
build an active research team in this area will be major factors in the
selection of this Hatch Chair.
