National Centre Software Technology (NCST) is organising "Vidyakash
2002,
International Conference on Online Learning" from 15-17, Dec 2002 in
Mumbai,
India.

Vidyakash-2002 is being conceived of as a forum to bring together the
various
groups interested in online learning. The conference will consist of
invited
talks by eminent scholars from India and abroad, contributed papers
selected
based on refereeing by an International panel of referees, exhibition
by
industry and academia, tutorials and panel discussion.

We invite proposals for the tutorial presentations during the
conference.
Tutorials may deal with surveying emerging trends and technologies,
learning
methodologies, educational technology and  related areas.

We especially welcome tutorials addressing one of the following
topics
(non-exhaustive list):

	* Learning environments	 * On-line teaching methodology
	* Learner support	 * Instruction delivery
     	* Learner modeling	 * Faculty development for on-line
learning
     	* Virtual university	 * Management and administration
     	* Instructional design	 * Courseware engineering
     	* Courseware evaluation	 * On-line learner assessment
     	* Collaborative learning * On-line learning technology
standards

Tutorials will take place during 15 Dec 2002. Each tutorial will span
a day.


Tutorial proposals due 		: Aug 31, 2002
Tutorial Acceptance intimation 	: Sept 15, 2002


Submission
----------
The tutorial proposal must contain:

Short description of the tutorial (1 paragraph),
Tutorial syllabus (1 page).
Description of the target audience, including prerequisites.
A short resume of the presenter(s), with address and, if any, details
of
relevant research and teaching experience.
The tutorial should not be a promotion of only the presenter's work
or the
promotion of a product.

Proposals should be sent by email to vidyakash2002 at ncst.ernet.in.
Please mention
"Proposal for Tutorial" in the subject line.
