PhD Studentships in Sociology and Cultural & Media Studies

Applications are invited for University funded full-time doctoral research
studentships in these areas:

? Cultural Economy ? Cultural Governance ? Cyber culture 
? Media and cultural industries ? Media policy ? Popular music culture
? Social movements ? Race and cultural diversity

The studentships will be tenable from 1 October 2002. Applicants should have
a good Honours degree and preferably a Masters degree in Sociology or a
