the feb 01 pew project stats put adult internet use around 56%

93% of those use email.

has anyone seen a figure (say, no more than two years old) for how many
adult users there are IF ONE TAKES OUT EMAIL?

I guess those folks would be web cerfing and/or doing file transfers.

Would there be (a significant number of) adult internet users if there
were no email?
