[Air-l] cites for political/civic uses of new media?

hello everyone  : )

a fellow grad student in my dept. asked me about:

"articles on ways that community of folks use new media for political
organizing/civic participation."

i wasn't sure which cites would make the best recommendations. if this is
your area of expertise, what would you suggest as your top 2 picks?
