ABC Summary: 
William Dutton is probably the first Professor of the Internet in the
world. His position, paradoxically, is at one of the oldest universities,
at Balliol College, Oxford. He came from the US and set up shop a few
months ago. He explains how he intends to turn a global communications
adventure playground into a systematic discipline.
