[Air-l] less mail junk

Geert,

while i agree that people should consider others when they post and 
respond and mailers should treat others as they themselves would 
prefer, receiving well edited and considered email, i do not see that 
the list has sent any attachments since 2002, and while some people do 
seem to prefer html in their email, most emails that come through have 
plain text options.  as such, i don't see that your call for moderation 
or closing the list really is pertinent, especially in comparison to 
the majority of related lists in the world,  which are usually 
moderated and closed and have the same issues, though perhaps to an 
even greater degree.
