While I somewhat appreciate the sentiment in the last few posts, i find 
the tone a bit harsh.  Perhaps it would be better to consider why 
colleagues should be approached on this topic, as opposed to doing 
interviews with children.   likewise without a thorough understanding 
of the research plan and methodology being implemented, I find 
questioning the foundations of a persons research to be more like 
intimidation than academic enquiry or aid to the project at hand.  I'd 
encourage you to change your tone to one more conducive to dialogue and 
discussion of the research project and your apparent interest in 
improving it.
