imho

just as a matter of interest, it is not compulsory to read or reply to every
message on this list - only to those that interest you
if i don't want to participate in a post i do one of two things, i either
delete it after reading it, or delete it without reading it
what i have never done (i hope) is to reply and insist that others who are
interested in the topic don't post to it
