You asked “can you perhaps tell us how you intend to tie the internet into
your research?”   I suppose the internet is the largest way in which
increased connexity has taken the world by storm, now rapidly followed by
mobile technological development WAPs laptops hand helds etc.  I use the
Internet as my primary tool in researching anything; the ability to search a
document on the PC is so much easier than trawling through books and
newspapers in hardcopy.  Though it does not exclude these.  Just by
contributing to the list we indicate the importance of the Internet in our
academic lives!  At this point of my quest to understand Globalization I
would have to say the Internet is my main mental picture.  I know it is
broader than this.  A number of you have responded to my post on and off
list thank you very much.
