Yes. I quite like their work as well, especially becuase they are attentive to the epistemological issuesw involved with methods.  How do comm studies students relate to the sociology involved in therse texts?

A really good qualitative methods book is David Silverstone's 
_Analysing Qualitative Data_ . For ethnography the various books by 
Hammersley and/or Atkinson are excellent.
