Positions available at the Department of Film and Media Studies,

Two positions as assistant professor are available in connection with
the launch of a BA program in "Digital Aesthetics and Communication" and
of an MA program in "Multimedia, Communication, and Organizations".

Assistant Professor in "Digital Aesthetics and Communication"

Applicants must document research qualifications within one or more of
the following areas: digital media of communication, strategic
communication and digital media, digital media aesthetics, and digital
media culture. One of the obligations of the successful candidate will
be to participate in the development and planning of the new BA program,
"Digital Aesthetics and Communication".

Assistant Professor in "Multimedia, Communication, and Organizations"

Applicants must document research qualifications within one or more of
the following areas: media theory and analysis with a specific focus on
multimedia, journalism, organizational communication, organizational
theory and culture, and public relations. One of the obligations of the
successful candidate will be to participate in the development and
planning of the new MA program, "Multimedia, Communication, and
Organizations".

The positions are limited to three years.

Terms of appointment and salary according to the agreement between the
Ministry of Finance and AC (The Danish Confederation of Professional
Associations) on academics in the State. 

The application must be in English and include: 
-	A curriculum vitae
-	A short description of the research program which is intended to
be undertaken
-	Documentation for teaching qualifications and other
qualifications
-	A complete list of publications with indication of which papers
the applicant considers particularly relevant (max. 6)
-	3 copies of each of the selected papers considered particularly
relevant. 

It should be noted that: 
-	The applicants will be notified about the composition of the
assessment committee 
-	The assessment committee may require supplementary
documentation, which the applicant must then provide
-	Letters of recommendation are not regarded as scientific
material on which the assessment may be based. However they may be taken
into account when the Dean decides to whom to offer the position. 
-	When the assessment committee's report is submitted, each
applicant will receive only the part of the report that relates to
him/herself, as information about the other applicants is confidential
and may not be revealed to other applicants.

It should also be noted that if the applicants want their publications
and other material returned by mail, it will be sent C.O.D.
