The Communication Media and Culture Subject Group is offering two PhD
studentships.
 We are interested in imaginative proposals from highly motivated
individuals who have or expect to obtain at least upper second BA, BSc or
Masters in a relevant discipline.

a.	in gender and ICT : any topic.

b.	media and cultural policy
The successful candidate will undertake a comparative analysis of media and
cultural policies in the European context (including UK). Possible areas of
investigation: national and supranational agencies, market vs public
interest and gender/race/class issues.
