Registration for the World Forum on Communication Rights is now open.

The Forum is a one-day event taking place in Geneva on 11th December at
Palexpo alongside the World Summit on the Information Society.  Its goal
is to explore some key issues ignored by the World Summit on the
Information Society, and to open the agenda on what "communication rights"
really mean on the ground. A multimedia and multilingual event, the Forum
aims to set the tone of the debate on issues that are real to the
majority, from poverty in the media, to Human Rights, to knowledge, to
peace and conflict.

You are invited to join us in this celebration of promoting the concept,
recognition and realisation of such rights.

The level of interest in the event is high, so we advise you to register
early to avoid disappointment.

La inscripcisn para el Foro Mundial sobre el Derecho a la Comunicacisn
esta abierta.

El Foro es una reunisn de un dma de duracisn que tendra lugar en Ginebra
el 11 de Diciembre, en el Palexpo, en paralelo con la celebracisn de la
Cumbre Mundial sobre la Sociedad de la Informacisn. Su objetivo es
analizar algunos puntos clave ignorados en la Cumbre Mundial sobre la
Sociedad de la Informacisn, asm como abrir la agenda a lo que "los
derechos de comunicacisn" significan realmente sobre el terreno. En tanto
que reunisn multimedia y multiling|e, el Foro pretende establecer los
tirminos del debate en temas que son reales para la mayorma; desde la
pobreza en los media, a los Derechos Humanos, el conocimiento, o la paz y
el conflicto.

Queda invitado/a a unirse a esta celebracisn para promover el concepto, el
reconocimiento y la realizacisn de estos derechos.

La reunisn ha despertado un gran interis, por lo que le recomendamos que
se inscriba pronto, con el fin de evitar problemas.
