We're back!  The International Conference on Television, Audio, Video, New
Media and Feminism:  Console-ing Passions welcomes proposals for papers,
panels, workshops and screenings on television, audio, video, new media and
feminism.

We welcome a wide range of work on media, including but not limited to:

independent video/sound/new media work and video/sound/new media art
the Internet and new media
global issues/geopolitics
genres, stars and producers
media theory
radio, television, audio, video and new media history
children's media
gender, race, ethnicity, and sexuality in the media
televisual narratives
audiences and identity
technology and everyday life
regional and local voices
policy, regulation & censorship
reality television
reception and production studies
representing intersectionality
international genres
media education/pedagogy
cyberfeminism and blog power
women warriors and Operation Iraqi Freedom
