A position as Head of Department of Digital Aesthetics & Communication at
the IT-University of Copenhagen is now open.
Deadline for applications is 20 September. Formal requirements is a
qualification as Associate Professor.

"The IT University of Copenhagen is looking for a new visionary and powerful
Head of Department to lead the development of the Department of Digital
Aesthetics and Communication and to ensure that the department continues to
deliver excellent research and teaching. The department was formed in 2001
and provides a young and dynamic academic environment. Currently,
approximately 20 researchers are associated with the department...

"...The Department of Digital Aesthetics and Communication conducts
research in the aesthetic, cultural, communicative and social aspects of IT,
especially within the areas of computer games, communication and experience
design, digital culture and cultural technologies such as mobile
communication tools. About half of the researchers in the department are
associated with the Center for Computer Games Research (http://game.itu.dk).
