What do you mean by "about" the web? Social aspects, technical, history?
Perhaps if you can specify further we can help better.
     ... Meanwhile, let me (of course) suggest "The Internet in Everyday
Life" (intro chapter for review) edited by Wellman & Haythornthwaite (2003).
    I also have a review chapter (co-authored with Chris Hagar) forthcoming
in ARIST (Annual Review of Information Science and Technology) titled "The
Social World(s) of the Web." I can't circulate widely at this time, but if
you have a particular immediate need I could send a copy to you.
