Dear colleague, the detailed program for the rich and diverse program
for
the Community Informatics Research Network Conference and
Colloquium, 'Sustainability and Community Technology: What Does this
Mean
for Community Informatics?' in Prato (near Florence ) Italy 29 Sept - 1

Oct is now online.

'Sustainability' has been identified as a key and controversial issue in

community networking, and the purpose of the conference is to explore
all
its dimensions, resulting in a communique developed through plenary
sessions, as well as the development of further activities of the CIRN
network.

There will also be opportunities for networking and social events in a
beautiful small Tuscan city, close to Florence. In addition to keynotes,

there are nearly 40 talks about projects and research from around the
world, workshops, and a PhD colloquium.

See http://www.ciresearch.net/conferences/schedule.php?cf=4 for the
schedule (subject to amendments) and
http://www.ciresearch.net/conferences/registration.php?cf=4 for
registration information.

Please don't miss this great opportunity to meet practitioners and
researchers from around the globe, in a convivial
atmosphere. Registrations are from EU125 and up. A listing of local
hotels and travel information is also on the website.
