[Air-l] outsourcing telephone & online support centers to developing countries

Does anyone know of studies on this topic? Specifically, I'm interested
in studies that explore the extent to which these centers alter
experienced space/geography as a result of the interactions they create
between customers and support workers in different countries/cultures.
