[Air-l] Citation Style Query (Threaded Discussion Groups)

From the website http://www.bedfordstmartins.com/online/index.html, I found out that there are several ways to cite a posting to a web discussion forum. Each has its own citation style of providing information as follows.
1. MLA style
MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (2003) by Joseph Gibaldi
- Author's name
- Title of posting, in quotation marks
- Phrase 'online posting'
- Date of posting
- Name of forum
- Date of access
- URL, in angle brackets

2. APA style
The fifth edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (2001)
