[Air-l] Preschool Interactive Software

I am interested in researching the effect interactivity plays in 
learning outcomes.  I would like to test a group of children in 
preschool and kindergarten on software that is highly interactive and 
that has a "sister" program that is very lean with interactivity.  Does 
anyone know of existing research in this area?  Does anyone know of 
software that might work for this?
