[Air-l] Asian Tsunami Web Archive

On March 1, a Web archive of sites relating to the Asian tsunami was
soft launched -- at http://tsunami.archive.org WebArchivist.org provided
technology and services to this collaborative effort, which included the
Singapore Internet Research Center at Nanyang Technological University
and the Internet Archive in San Francisco.  The archive includes sites
from dozens of nations and in thirteen different languages.  AoIR
members involved in the project included Kirsten Foot, Steve Schneider,
and Randy Kluver.

Members of AoIR are invited to visit the site and give feedback.  We
especially welcome feedback, given that we are still working to clean up
the data and make the information more useful to visitors.
