Dear Internet Researchers,

Does anyone know of good academic studies of search engine spamming? Particulary those that discuss tag stuffing and "link farming", for the purposes of moving up Google's page rank. I'm also interested in the info-politics that insue (Tony Blair is one step ahead of Al Franken for example in google's ranking fo the keyword "Liar", plenty of other examples out there too.)

Off list please to gelmer at ryerson.ca.
