Hello AoIR-ers,
I'm beginning to put together an edited collection of previously
published essays on critical software studies. Topics to be addressed
include open source software, free software, experimental or
'speculative' software, search engines/portals, privacy, the browser
wars, software standards/governance, political economy of software
preferences, etc.
Please email me *offlist* with comments and feedback (suggestions for
essays to include), and most importantly if you would adopt such a book
for a course you teach (please provide as much detail as possible). Much
appreciated.
