Ellis: Check out indymedia.org (as in Independent Media Centers or indymedia, whose slogan is "be the media," which blossomed in response to the WTO meeting/demonstration in 1999). Also see Victor Pickard's excellent analysis of IMC's use of wikis in his recent article in _Critical Studies in Media Communication_ (March 2006).
