Andy and all, sorry for the self-promotion here but after reading a little
bit more about your project I thought that a forthcoming paper that we have
in Mass Comm & Society might be useful for you: Media Dissociation, Internet
Use, and Anti-War Political Participation. 
I think it might be particularly helpful in developing your idea/concept of
DAR (distributed action research) and its relation to the need for a group
of people to get together to build somebody's new barn (and more) because
you can't do it by yourself. In any case, good luck,

Hi,

I would like to know if there is anybody else on the air-l  listserv 
who is conducting Action Research over the internet?

My field is  Action Research with distributed Communities of Practice
and I wondered how far off the mainstream of internet research as
discussed here,  this might be. Is anybody else in roughly the same
area, or can you point me in the direction of more appropriate
listservs?
