Tenure-track appointment at the assistant or associate level in the  
Department of Journalism and Technical Communication.  Ph. D. in  
communication, journalism/mass communication, or related field  
required, as is a demonstrated research interest in the interface  
between humans and information technology.  Applied focus in health,  
environment, risk and/or science communication and the promise of  
attracting extramural funding preferred. Teaching experience
