I gave a session on "Low-Cost and No-Cost Taxonomy Tools" last November at
Information Today, Inc.'s Taxonomy Boot Camp
(http://www.taxonomybootcamp.com/) held in conjunction with Knowledge
Management World & Intranets (http://www.kmworld.com/kmw06/) in San Jose.

You'll find a number of resources related to your public XML schemas inquiry
embedded within my presentation and summarized on the last slide. Either go
to my Presentations and Publications page at
http://www.researchedge.com/news/present.html where you'll find the entry
for 11/2/06 with a link to my PPT (and perhaps other materials of interest)
or download it directly from my site at
http://www.researchedge.com/docs/Taxonomy%20Bootcamp%20-%20Low-Cost%20&%20No
-Cost%20Taxonomy%20Tools%2011_02_06.ppt (3.7MB PPT) FYI.

Taxonomy Boot Camp (http://www.taxonomybootcamp.com/) is a great venue for
those working with taxonomies, classification & categorization for search
and database use and will be held from 11/8-9/07 in San Jose. This year I'll
be moderating the Enterprise Search Summit West
(http://www.enterprisesearchsummit.com/west/) track and otherwise attending
TBC and other elements of Knowledge Management World & Intranets
(http://www.kmworld.com/kmw07/). Great event if you can make it.

Subject: [Air-L] XML & Public DTD Repositories?

Maybe I just need to finish my morning coffee, but I'm having a hell of a
time devising a Google search to find something like a link list or
repository for Public XML Schemas, especially any that have been recognized
as standards (all I end up with are endless pages of 'how to create your own
XML DTD and make it public - w00t!'). Any thoughts on a good place to look?
