Hi All

I’m planning a panel for the next AOIR about photo blogging, photo sharing
and the role of photographs within current netculture. I think it would be
interesting to group together people working with different aspects of
photography and photos. There will be no limitations to specific media
platforms, so things like MMS or how the presence of camera phones are
reshaping the public and the private spheres offline, are also very
welcome. Research on the role of photos on Facebook, Myspace, blogs, and
even old school personal homepages, is also much welcome. So do not only
think Flickr!
Research relating to broader issues such as citizen journalism would also
be interesting.

I will write a panel suggestion in the beginning of January, but please
get in contact as soon as possible if you would like to present in this
panel. You can contact me at smork at itu.dk.

Happy holidays

Soeren Moerk Petersen
