"Dear esteemed member of the traditional press,

We have been made aware that technology X is too advanced, too trendy, too
utopianly spastic and certainly too culturally transformative for you to
possibly understand, much less explain to your readers.

Could you please say some nice things about it, giving credit and
accolades to the people who are actually thinking deep thoughts about it?

You could then proceed to say something open-ended and witty that promotes
the status of our favorite newfangled Internet technology (hopefully in 3D
or hypertextual or VRML-inspired... or with 31337 nanotechnology and cool
virtual hair products available inside!!!) over your Gutenberg-derived
dead-tree-press manifestoes?

We would be highly appreciative, and might even buy a subscription to
NYT/WaPo/FoxNews online service as a token of our unending gratitude and
symbolic capitulation to your economic grandstanding."

[This is all in fun, of course....

AND I managed to squeeze in a few Big Words....!!!]

yukyuk,
