Applications are invited for a Chair in Social Psychology within a vibrant,
research-led department. The successful candidate will be an internationally
respected researcher and academic leader, capable of inspiring the School's
research effort in the area of Social Psychology, developing its research
profile, and enhancing its reputation for scholarly and professional
excellence.
 

The School has existing strengths in social identity and intergroup
relations, equality and diversity and applied social psychology. The
successful applicant will have an excellent research record that enhances
and develops the existing strengths of social psychology within the School. 

The successful candidate will have an international reputation for research
excellence, an outstanding record of publications in leading international
journals and significant success in securing external funding for their
research. The new appointee will be involved in the appointment of a
lectureship in the area.
