In addition to Denise's references, Sue Thomas - former head of trace - runs
a creative writing and new media course at De Montfort University. Check out
her "Writing and the Digital Life" blog Writing & the Digital
Life<http://www.hum.dmu.ac.uk/blogs/wdl/>

As someone who is involved in this are, I work with her on the notion of
"transliteracy" PART <http://www.hum.dmu.ac.uk/blogs/part/> and am currently
doing a (somewhat) qualitative study of folksonomy and narrative TNN -
Tags/Networks/Narrative <http://www.hum.dmu.ac.uk/blogs/tnn/>

Come October I will be starting on a project looking at social behaviour
manifested in the discussion pages of Penguin's wikinovel (A Million
Penguins) AMP <http://www.amillionpenguins.com/>
My background is in ethnography/qual research so if anyone else here is
working in the area of wikis and ethnography (or is interested in doing so)
it would be great to hear from you.
