Hi,
Some of the German Protestant churches created a specialised chat
service for pastoral care (which includes more of psychological
counseling that spiritual guidance, if I understand well. The "German"
term for it is Chat-Seelsorge. At the time of its experimentation, in
2002, it was largely used by youth. Diemo Rollert, a vicar and internet
pastor, wrote an internal analysis of the uses of the service. If you
are interested I can you send his email address.

Hope this helps,
Frank
