There are also many others that attempt to archive
things like seeds and DNA and other stuff. There was
a recent Canadian Public Radio show Quirks and Quarks
show on all the attempts to archive / backup the earth
(with one gentleman who wants to put a backup copy of
the earth in a station on the moon).
