Folks,

Some of you know I have a new penchant for tool-building. Well, the
latest creation of the QDAP lab is a blog scraping tool. The tool is
designed to allow you to set up accounts to automatically capture blog
posts on one or several blogs and to archive the data in a plain text
format "ready-to-be-coded" inside QDAP's Coding Analysis Toolkit.

For anyone who ever wanted to study blogs, this is a big step forward.
The emphasis here is on a user-friendly interface and a seamless
system for capturing and coding blog data. Now, this is a brand new
tool and probably a bit buggy. However, it works well enough that we
invite you to set up an account and start capturing blog data. No
doubt there are some of you interested in the blogs and Election 08.
