PhD Studentship (Centre for Research in Computing)*

Applications are invited for two Research Associates (RA) and a PhD student
to work on an EPSRC funded three-year interdisciplinary project on *Privacy
Rights Management in Mobile Applications (PRiMMA)*. The project will
empirically investigate mobile computing users' requirements and policies
for privacy in different settings.

For one of the RA positions, experience and training in social-science and
human-computer interaction research methods, and experience of collecting
and analysing quantitative and qualitative data are essential.

For the other RA position, experience of building complex software is
essential and experience in developing mobile computing applications is
desirable.

The PhD student will investigate novel user interface design for privacy
management in mobile computing devices, although we will consider high
quality applicants in any area relevant to the project.
