Dear Giuliana

I am researching older adults and their online romantic relationships. I published a small preliminary study last year, which might give you some background and a few statistics:

Malta, S (2007)
Love Actually! Older Adults and their Romantic Internet Relationships
Australian Journal of Emerging Technologies and Society, 5(2), 84-102

Also, two other recent papers on online dating are by Henry-Waring and Barraket:

Henry-Waring & Barraket (2008a)
Dating & Intimacy in the 21st Century: The Use of Online Dating Sites in Australia
International Journal of Emerging Technologies and Society, 6(1): 14 - 33

Barraket & Henry-Waring (2008b)
Getting it (On)line: Sociological Perspectives on e-Dating
Journal of Sociology, 44(2), 149-166

Hope this helps!

Cheers, Sue Malta

hello
We are two artists working on an on-line dating project for a workshop in
Luxembourg.
We already have a bibliography of philosophical and cultural studies texts,
but we are interested in finding other information regarding this theme, for
example research statistics, sociology papers etc..
Any information would be appreciated and credited to whoever gives us an
indication.
Thank you
Giuliana racco
