Position Summaries:
POSITION 1: The George Washington University Executive Leadership Doctoral Program (ELP) in Human and Organizational Learning has an ASSOCIATE level renewable three-year contract, non-tenure accruing, academic year faculty position available beginning August 2009. We seek a colleague with the demonstrated ability to produce theoretically based, practically relevant research in human and organizational learning. The successful candidate will have: an earned doctorate in Human and Organizational Studies, or a related field; experience as a practitioner with an established management career; evidence of practitioner-based research as indicated by publications in scholarly and/or practitioner-oriented outlets; experience coordinating real-time field research and/or evaluation projects in organizational settings; and, graduate level teaching and/or advising experience.
POSITION 2: The George Washington University Executive Leadership Doctoral Program (ELP) in Human and Organizational Learning has a tenure accruing, academic year ASSISTANT Professor position available beginning August 2009. The successful candidate will demonstrate the potential for outstanding scholarly research in adult learning, human behavior, human agency and/or other individual-level phenomena. Successful candidates must also demonstrate the potential for distinguished teaching with a diverse population of students in human and organizational learning.
ELP is a cross-disciplinary, alternative format doctoral program in Human and Organizational Learning based at GW’s suburban Virginia Campus.
