[Air-L] practical communication question

That depends on where you come from. If you come from Europe or have a
recent GSM phone (GSM900 and GSM1800) or a recent 3G phone, you can
just buy a pre-paid SIM card in a kiosk or supermarket and replace the
SIM card in your phone for the week you are here. Phone cards cost
from 100 DKK. Your phone should not be SIM-locked, of course.

If you have an older 3G or GSM1900-only handset and come from Japan or
the US, this will not work. In any case, trying before you buy with a
SIM card from a local's phone is probably a sensible precaution.

If you don't have a cell phone already, you can buy one at some
supermarkets from 600 DKK upwards. Try in SuperBrugsen, Netto,
Kvickly, or Føtex.

Best,
Charlie
