[Air-L] Lifestyle blogger

Thanks. Sorry if I wasn't clear enough.

In Malaysia, a 'lifestyle blogger' usually refers to someone who blogs about
their life (as in the personal/diary type), but focuses more on parties,
product launches, PR events, fashion/makeup, and assorted gatherings, etc.
Bloggers who fall within this category are usually the most successful in
terms of monetising their blog, particularly through the use of advertorials
(paid posts).

I'm interested in knowing when the term started to be used, and more
specifically when it started to be used in reference to this particular
genre.

I assume the term derives from the Magazine/Sunday Paper 'Lifestyle'
sections that deal with travelling, food, cultural events, etc.

Thanks,
Julian

Are you specifically looking for when the term began?
Or when the definition began?

...but then again, I don't even know what you mean by 'lifestyle
blogger'.
What does that mean?
