Dear colleagues:

We are happy to announce the newest issue (Vol.
3, issue 1) of the International Journal of
Internet Science that appeared in December.

The current issue features three original
research contributions in the field of Internet
science, and one book review. In our editorial we
provide data about the journal's impact and
likely reasons for the exciting news: it is at
least 1.64 and likely >2, its immediacy is at
1.17 (2006) and 0.71 (2007).
The specific areas covered by the articles are
the quality of search engine count estimates,
factors that determine Internet adoption in
businesses, and the question of true e-democracy
in e-governance. In addition, Tom Buchanan
reviews the book 'Psychological Aspects of
Cyberspace: Theory, Research Applications',
edited by Azy Barak.
