But of course, this being the era of reflexive modernity, sophisticated
members of this group who oppose the change will have realised that by
refraining from posting during the period of the experiment, they are able
to influence the outcome of the experiment in a manner that accords with
their agenda. Likewise, supporters of the change can start posting much more
frequently in order to counter this.
I think that the issue is a normative one, and not one that lends itself
easily to experimentation.
