I want to publicly thank Leopoldina Fortunati for inviting me to lecture
to her fascinating media group at the dynamic University of Udine, in
northeastern Italy -- near the Slovenian and Austrian borders. Lots of
smart people and good discussion, and Polda is the ultimate host.

Udine itself is fascinating: both old and new. Got a cashmere sweater
there for one-third the Milan price. In this year's fashionable
lavender-purple colour.
