The Information Warfare Monitor (a collaboration between the Citizen
Lab, Munk School of Global Affairs and the SecDev Group) seeks
applications for a full-time editor of the Information Warfare
Monitor. The position comes as a paid full-time fellowship at the
Citizen Lab, Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto.
The Information Warfare Monitor is an advanced research activity
tracking the emergence of cyberspace as a strategic domain. We are an
independent research effort. Our mission is to build and broaden the
evidence base available to scholars, policy makers, and others.
Responsibilities:
Managing the IWM website and blog
Contributing to ongoing IWM research projects
Helping to organize IWM workshops
Engaging in outreach on behalf of the IWM
Education, Experience and Skill Requirements:
Masters degree (or higher)
Academic and policy experience in the cyberspace domain
Be highly engaged on multiple levels with the geopolitics of
cyberspace
Possess excellent writing and analytical capabilities
Bring fresh perspectives, diligence and creativity to the
Information Warfare Monitor
Further Details:
Although technical skills are beneficial, they are not essential
Salary to be negotiated on prior experience
