Hi,

For the latin universities there is a new social net  
www.campusmovil.net, it's only in spanish, but here this is an  
explanation of how it works in english

Campus Móvil was born in Stanford University in 2007 from the  
investigation “Mobile devices and Web 2.0 apps. Towards to design a  
prototype of university teaching innovation”.
