Hello all,

It's my pleasure to announce that the winner of the first AoIR Book Award is
Richard Harper for his book *Texture: Human Expression in the Age of
Communications Overload *from MIT Press.You can read more about the work

Richard has kindly agreed to give a keynote talk at IR 12 this October in
Seattle based on his work. Please join me in congratulating him on this
