   Deen,

Pulling data off is possible via DiscoverText with paid Professional or
Enterprise accounts. Now we also have an API that you can use for
pulling off everything (except Twitter data) including raw data, meta
data, as well as human coding and machine classification scores.

Under the Twitter ToS, you are permitted to "save as" .csv or XML to
use teh raw data in other applications. Using the DiscoverText API, you
can also get just the Twitter ID for individual tweets.

Great job with this Devin; good to see 140kit back in action. But it's
so frustrating that I can't pull the data out and play with it myself!
On the other hand I suppose we can't blame Twitter for trying to
monetize their APIs; they're not a charity after all... ~DEEN

[5]140kit.com, which was a site where a researcher could throw in a
term, and tweets including that term would be automatically collected.
At that point, you would be able to download the raw data or run our
   on-site analytics.

steam when Twitter disallowed raw data outputs for third parties -
analytics were still fine, however. Second, our previous hosting
situation, which was provided to us for free, finally fell through, and
we don't have money (its just me and another programmer) to pour into
   this thing.

re-workings on the system, and its feeling pretty solid, so we're
opening it up. If you have any questions, feel free to let me know off
   list.
