[Air-L] How do medical professionals perceive the Internet interactions of patients?

I remember Jennifer Malkowski from Colorado-Boulder was doing a presentation during NCA 2012 on "Improvising the Future of Medicine: Improving Health Care through Communication Theory." Beyond that, I really haven't seen or read anything on the subject.
