The iConference is presented by the iSchools, an association of 33
academic institutions spanning North America, Europe, and Asia; all
are dedicated to advancing the information field in the 21st century.
The iConference pushes the boundaries of information studies, explores
core concepts and ideas, and creates new technological and conceptual
configurations — all situated in interdisciplinary discourses.

iConference 2012 is hosted by the Faculty of Information at the
University of Toronto. Presenting Sponsors include the National
Science Foundation and Microsoft Research. Additional support provided
by Emerald Group Publishing and Morgan & Claypool Publishers.
